ABOUT
Leonhard Rothmoser is an interdisciplinary artist based in Munich. Graduated from University of applied Sciences Munich, having studied architecture and design he works within the fields of art, design and publishing. Through a variety of techniques such as drawings, objects and installations he explores the core issue of man being a finite and imperfect being forced to creatively manoëuvre through a complex and contrary world by designing means and methods to cope – thus creating an ever more complex and more contrary planet.
Artistic starting point was the collaborative work as artist-duo Leo & Björn with Björn-Achim Schmidt in 2006 resulting in various solo and group exhibitions. Collaborations with photographer Roman Häbler and graphic designer Jonas Hirschmann resulted in numerous publications and installations since 2010 as well as the foundation of Klick Klack Publishing.
